Lite User Interface Building Automation

Scenario: You want to use the building automation Lite User Interface to operate the building. There are four scenarios, depending on the engineered project, how to setup such a profile.

Further applications can be added in a Level 4 project (Scenarios C and D). If any of the standard applications is not required, the configuration must always be performed in accordance with scenario D.

Required Engineering Steps

A

The project has been created using the Template_ BA_[xx]. There is no need for further configuration for standard HQ subsystem integration. A User Operator has been configured. Additional users can be added.

B

The project has not been created using the Template_ BA_[xx]. Instead, the configuration of an existing Lite User Interface profile can be used for the user with default application.

There is no need for further configuration for standard HQ subsystem integration

All integrated subsystems are supported by the Lite User Interface configuration.

Configuring Lite Users

C

The project has not been created using the Template_ BA_[xx]. A not supported subsystem must be integrated.

Instead, the configuration of an existing Lite User Interface profile can be used for the user with default application.

D

The project has not been created using the Template_ BA_[xx].

Instead, the configuration of an existing Lite User Interface cannot be used for the user. (for example, if it is required to add specific object type visible by default in user interface)

NOTE: This scenario requires a lot of settings and all subsystem settings must be extended with this new Lite UI.

This scenario applies when there is no need for a L1 Headquarter level application in the project.

Prerequisites:

  • The sequence of the user interface list is based on the defined configuration.
  • System Manager is in Engineering mode.
  • System Browser is in Management View.
  • The project data have been imported.
    NOTE: If no project data have been imported, the Lite User Interface cannot be tested with a Lite user profile.
